Luxury Single Room offers amazing comfort with tasteful decoration and a huge bed. Fun little touches like in-room refreshments and cookies made the stay enjoyable.
had to search for alternatives, which added extra hassle. The car park is small, potentially limiting for larger groups arriving at once, possibly inconvenient if busy.

comfortable stay with minor improvements needed
The attention to details in the room decor truly impressed me. Every morning, the cooked breakfast was a delightful way to start the day. The staff were genuinely warm, making each guest feel welcome.
While the common areas were welcoming, they could benefit from more consistent maintenance.

we had an excellent stay at howarth house. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and shops. the beds were super comfy, and the room was spotless. the breakfast was the best we’ve had at a hotel, with loads of options. what really stood out was how welcoming the staff were, especially with our dog. it felt like a home away from home.

The decor features a charming eclectic style, with unique touches like a rocking horse in reception and a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout. Location near the high street allows easy access to shops and eateries. The hotel's proximity to Ashton Gardens and the beach offers a great escape for walks.
My single room faced a brick wall and drainpipes, which felt a bit stifled, and the small bathroom left little room to maneuver. Stairs leading to the second floor are steep, making it less ideal for travelers with mobility issues. Soundproofing here isn’t the best. noises from adjacent rooms, particularly bathroom sounds, can be heard.
